Step-by-step instructions
1 . Before using this tool:
1a : You need to have made one or more changes you can undo to your current drawing before you can Undo .
Tip: Look at the Edit menu. If Undo is disabled (grayed out), then you have not made any changes to your drawing that can be undone. If Undo is enabled, the operation that can be undone is noted on the Edit menu. For example, it might say Undo: Move .
2 . Invoke Undo using any one (1) of the following methods in the Drawing Editor :
Method 1 : Click the Undo icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Edit ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Edit > Undo .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Undo can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
Method 6 : In Select Items Mode , right-click ( Menu ) and choose " Undo " on the context menu .
3 . The most-recent change that can be undone is undone.
Alternative 1 : Repeat step 2 to undo the next-most-recent change that can be undone.
Alternative 2 : Do something else. Note: If you do another change that can be undone , then you cannot Redo this change.

Changes you can Undo :
- Add operations such as Add Arc , Add Circle Radius , Add Dimension , Viewport Adds , etc.
- Add Standard Detail , Paste , Paste at Original , Paste Special .
- Sheet Item Add (one drawing at a time).
- Area operations with the exception of Save Standard Detail.
- Construction lines added using point locators like INCL (one at a time).
- Construction lines added using BSCL , BSMB , BSRL , MTRL (all at once)
- Detail Current Piecemark .
- Drawing Data changes can be undone after that window is closed.
- Xxx Edit operations such as Arc Edit , double-click to edit, etc.
- Edit Sheet Bill Bill Order .
- Xxx Edit All operations such as Arc Edit All , Circle Edit All , etc.
- An Edit Bill can be undone after the bill editor is closed.
- Xxx Erase operations such as Erase Arc , Erase Circle , Viewport Erase , Delete , etc.
- Xxx Erase All operations such as Erase All Arcs , etc.
- Sheet Item Delete From All . ( Undo works in current drawing only)
- Layer changes.
- Place Bill on a sheet outline.
- Place Total Weight on a sheet outline.
- The change of the " Scale " of a drawing on a sheet.
- Re-size or re-shape a viewport , one point move at a time.
- Search and Replace
- Search and Replace in Selected Drawings . ( Undo works in current drawing only)
- Section View can be undone on the detail, but the view remains in Modeling .
- Move/stretch operations using Select .
- Shield , Extend , Trim , Line Extend to Intersection .
- Shorten and Unshorten .

Changes you can't Undo :
- Auto Change Piecemarks
- Sheet Item Delete From All can be undone only in your current drawing.
- Save As
- Save Standard Detail .
- Zoom In , Pan , etc. -- use Undo View Change instead.
- Display Options settings.
- Search and Replace in Selected Drawings can be undone only in your current drawing.
- Select or Select + to select/deselect -- use Clear Selection or Restore Selection .
- Change Marks .
- Paste to Several and Add Standard to Several to drawings other than your current.
